Process water
Process water is water that is used in industrial operations for purposes such as washing, cooling, heating, diluting and transporting products. Once used, it may be contaminated with pollutants such as oils, greases, suspended solids, chemicals and metals, and therefore requires appropriate treatment before it can be discharged into the environment or reused.

Septage and grease
Septage, also known as faecal sludge, comes from non-collective sanitation pumping systems. It contains a high concentration of waste and is similar to sludge from sewage treatment plants. Grease mainly comes from domestic use and accumulates in networks, where it can cause problems. This is why it is essential to treat it.

Sewers and sand washing
Sewage sludge, also known as “sewage matter,” comes from the cleaning of various types of collection systems: storm sewer systems, wastewater systems, or combined sewer systems. EMO has designed one fully automatic treatment unit for the separation of liquids and solids in the pretreatment phase of the sewage water collected by “sludge gulper” trucks during sewers network cleaning campaign.

Leachates / Micropollutants
The management of leachate and micropollutants is now a major challenge for operators of storage facilities, industrial plants, and local authorities faced with the presence of trace compounds that are difficult to separate. Rich in organic matter, ammoniacal nitrogen, dissolved salts, metals, and emerging pollutants (PFAS, pharmaceutical residues, pesticides), leachate requires efficient, robust treatment systems that can adapt to variations in load.
