Treatment of septage sludge and grease

Sewage sludge comes from on-site sewage treatment systems, such as septic tanks. It contains a high concentration of waste and is similar to sewage sludge from treatment plants in the concentration of solids it contains. As for greases, they are mainly generated by domestic use. They accumulate in the network and can cause malfunctions. This is why it is essential to remove them to prevent clogging.

SEPTAGE SLUDGE and GREASE Treatment

Treatment solutions

Septage sludge and grease are transported by sewage trucks to treatment plants, where they are discharged and then pre-treated by screens and fine screens.

The screenings will then be sent to the wastewater treatment plant. Grease, meanwhile, will be redirected to a degreasing, flotation or separation system before being recycled or disposed of.
