Screw conveyors manufactured by EMO are designed for the transport of waste from screening and urban or industrial thickened sludge.
They can be easily adapted to your existing constraints and are available in an infinite number of versions: horizontal, inclined or rotating screw. They are designed to ensure the recovery, transfer or distribution of your dewatered sludge in dumps after treatment.
ADVANTAGES
- Optimum and safe use
- Equipped with a cover mounted on a slide
- Inclination up to 30°
- Length on request : no limit !
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The screw conveyor consists in a shaftless and endless screw rotating in a «U» shape trough, lined with a durable material. The screw is driven by a single speed gearmotor..
The products to be transported (screenings, thickened sludge) fall into a feed hopper, fixed to the upper part of the conveyor. They are then pushed from one point to another by the force exerted by a shaftless and and endless screw itself driven by a gearmotor.
The absence of a shaft and of intermediate brackets has the effect of eliminating almost completely any risk of clogging during the transport of wet, sticky or fibrous materials.
RANGE and APPLICATIONS
Capacity figures represent maximum recommended capacities in m³/h for a conveyor rotating at 35 rpm handling typical dewatered municipal sludge.
For screenings and similar difficult materials, typical speed is 15 rpm and capacities are reduced to 20% of those shown.
- Type SCV
- Screw diameter up to 360 mm (larger diameter(s) upon request)
- Inclination: 0° to 30°
- Capacity for conveying: 1.2 to 20 m³/h
